Basement Bathroom #2: Progress report

03-07-2009 11:00 PM by BeachedBones | 3 comments »

Here’s some progress pictures. Hopefully I can get the photos to work. Here’s where I started, with lovely flower tiles, holes in the wall, rusted tub, poor electrical, vinyl over sticky tile flooring, etc etc etc. Around here I was just about done all the demolition work, and went about repairing and replacing the plumbing. Now the hot water line actually goes to the Hot side of the (new) mixing valve. Novel concept eh? New sub-floor, two layers of 3/4 ply, cement board,...

03-06-2009 06:15 AM by zeddicus | 6 comments »

We decided to get rid of the carpet and tile instead as well as install new drains around the house. The drains were just completed and the tile has been down for a while, but since the room was empty i...
