I had to dig a little, but here are some progress pictures of the windows we put in our house. We moved into our house about 20 months ago. So the older pictures date back to 2006.We used Pella windows. Lowe’s was the place with the best price at that time. We liked the wood frame and the metal clad on the outside to protect the wood from the elements.We used a water base white wash as stain on the inside, with a water based polyurethane brushed finish. I have been on LumberJocks for awhile and when the CreativeHands News came out I noticed the HR Create and Share Challange – Windows Wonders, and having just completed the window replacement with a vent I figured I would share the experience.

Greetings fellow RENOVATORS…
Though I’ve been involved in the sister site Lumberjocks for about a year now, I haven’t really been too involved with this site. I love the big bay window in my living room but it needed something to brighten it up.Being a flower gardener I of course thought that nothing would do a better job than adding some nice flowering plants to it.These tropical Hibiscus flower all year and keep the window nice and showy even in the dead of winter.
