« Part 3: taking shape Part 4 of Dining Room series Part 5: dining room floor »

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to do much work on the dining room all summer 2009. We had a bad Ice Storm that left me with 12 trees down and hundreds of limbs. So, much of the summer and fall were spent dealing with yard cleanup and firewood splitting.

Oh yeah, and while we were at it, we figured we might as well give the master bedroom and office a cosmetic makeover. So, we ripped out the last bits of wall to wall carpet, gave the ceiling and walls a fresh coat of paint, and then put down the Bruce Lock and Fold engineered wood flooring throughout the bedroom, office, hallway, and foyer.

New crown molding also. New trim around all the hallway doors (6 OF THEM)!
