House eves - 6 replies Yup, I live in a double wide and fry things. Now I want to add a little more styling to the wood structure that sits on a steel frame, I want to add eves. Another learning the hard way - 9 replies I have a front door that is a steel skinned core door. The paint needed to be removed and replaced so out came the heat gun and the putty knife. I soon found that the core of the door was foam and that the heat gun was melting the foam making the door come apart! Back to the sanding method… |

A frozzen surprise! - 5 replies After completing the new redwood front deck just a couple of days before the first winter freeze came a good coat of Thompson’s Waterseal was applied to the bare wood. I never tried this before but many said it was really good stuff and i did see the comericals on TV. Sure enough when it rained a couple of days after the coating the water ... |
