New house building project #5: Hall Closet

« Part 4: Glass doors for the 6 medicine cabinets Part 5 of New house building project series Part 6: Little progress on the hall closet »

I am working on a wall closet in a hallway which will be our main entrance for “regular” traffic. The wall unit needs to hold all out home school books, shoes, coats (should not be too many and not too long around here). The closet is 135” long and 113” tall. The face frame is one unit and assembled on the spot.

Well get out the tools and follow me along and you got one too! ...lol

I hope it will not make the hall too narrow.

I would like to get out the tools and follow you along PaBull but I don’t have a hallway. My entrance just opens into the back room. Not even a foyer.

Yep your right.I know I would have it stuffed with all kinds of things that should go elsewhere just because it’s handier than going to the basement or the shed.(LOL)
