« Part 1: Advice That Will Save You $$$ On Your Next Woodworking Project… Part 2 of Woodworking plans and blueprints series no next part

If you may be thinking about building a shed for your yard or garden this year you should take a look at this free shed plan that I have found. I’ve seen a lot of sheds built for garden tractors and tools, and even some sheds that were turned into greenhouses! It’s all about having a good set of comprehensive, clear, easy to read and understandable blueprints or plans. It’s hard to get an idea of what the cost of such a project may cost with out good plans for the project. Good shed building plans can save dollars when it comes to knowing exactly what you’re going to need in material to get the project completed.

I’ve worked with several builders on several projects, and I can always tell the guy who has thought out his project and had good woodworking plans before starting. He does not have to stop working to keep going back to the lumber or hardware store to get wood or hardware that he forgot (or did know he would need). He never has a boat load of left over wood and hardware left over (which means he over spent) after the project is finished, and the project is always finished in less than half the time it would take the “unorganized” builder to complete.

If you’re going to build a shed this year for yourself or someone else, make sure that you have good plans in front of you. They will help you greatly and you will only go to the lumber store once, you won’t overspend on materials, and you will build your new shed in half the time.

(If you are interested in getting the free shed plan that I found and getting even more ideas on shed building you can visit my new woodworking blog that’s listed under my name at the bottom of this article.)

Happy building!

It means a lot to have a good plan in front of you while you are working. I definitely will check it out, thanks for the heads up.
