Maybe Mr Trim has a good idea. Maybe several categories such as built-ins, trim, moderate re-design, and major renovation? Not sure where just painting would fall in, but that can be a make over of a room as well. Maybe there should be a category such as painting and non-painting makeovers too?

I am looking forward to hearing what everyone comes up with.

All of my work is on a new build, so I’m not sure which category it would fall into, but I’m sure it could be along the lines of some of the refurbing people are doing. I’m doing everything except tearing down/out to build something new.

Same here as tenontim, ALL my energy goes into trying to get my house done to be able to move in. If there is anything worth an award i’m game. So we did design; lots of trips to the building department; foundation; rough construction; how about the drywall (nothing so far?); maple shaker style cabinets; soap stone counters; white oak floors; mdf moulding…........

A ‘face lift’ category would be cool. Curb appeal sells property…
