As I have said before, Karson, you are the best, you are the winner!

But if we do decks next year again, I will not let you get off this easy, LOL….

I would like to take this oppertunity to thank Michal and whoever else is involved for organising this thing. And it does not matter how good you do it, there is always somebody not happy with how you do it.

So happy because it was Karson’s excellent blog on LJ’s that helped me a lot with my deck…if you have not seen his blog on the step by step process—-be assured it is a winner too!! And there is a little extra about DUCKS too…

CONGRATS KARSON!!! And PAbULL!!! And all of us who entered…

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS! to the winners.

I also wish to thank all of you who participated.

There should have been more entries though.

One question: How many members voted?

I don’t see it, or am I looking in the wrong places.

Yes Dick, I agree, we need more ctivity here, more participents and more members voting.

But give it time and hopefully we will see this site blossum the way LJ did.

Hey Dick & Barb. 9members voted. It’s not written on the awards results page, but you can count number of votes(1st, 2nd,...5th place) and divide it by 5 ;). You’re right both, we need more activity here. Do you have any ideas how we can do that ?

Michal, check out http://lumberjocks.com/jocks/AdMarkGuy/blog/series/879, this guy is all about marketing.

Maybe encourage postings and projects by rewarding them.

Form a core group that will spend time always to welcome new refurbers.

Find other building forums and recommend this site.

Start interesting forum topics.

Find advertisers to sponsor challenges. (Ask Martin if you can run the Gorilla Glu challenge on HR)

Ask the LJs to link to HR when they can. (I have seen several decks posted at LJ lately) And reverse too.

I hope this helps???
