eeeeever so slowly... one more step before skim coata

at this point I’m happy to say I’m not the one finishing this drywall. The guys look to have done a fairly decent job of it. I just went down tonight and took the pics, and swept up a bit as our dog seems to like to follow me and supervise and there’s screws still strewn about a bit. We were told they’d be back Monday to do the final skim coat. I’m dreading the sanding since the temps are due to be in the 90s and look to be staying that way for a good long while. Not wanting to turn the A/C off as it just will not be able to catch back up. Guess we’ll just have to cross that road when we get there!

the far side of the basement (the door is the entry way to my area but there are no overhead lights in there – just going to be floor lamps)

from my rooms doorway back into this side of the basement.

my (small) theater space (dust included)
