1880 Vicky restoration

This is room one of many after stabilizing the foundation.
A mess of a job as I saved the original lath to back up the drywall. Foundation settling is still an issue so plaster or plaster repair is not considered. South window required a rebuild to retain original pre-tin float glass and future plans are being considered to remove and square up double window frames as they are out only 3/8 ”. Possible finish to this room is to frame walls, crown, and establish an even more formal look to the parlor. More pictures on Myspace at myspace.com/o_maniac

Nice work! I had a 1918 Craftsman that had similar issues. When you’re done it’s worth all the pain and effort!
