the existing kitchen island is approximatly 3’ deep, had doors on the end, guest stated that it was hard for her to reach to the back for her pots and pans, guest requested that a sliding door on two sides for easy accsese to the back of the island. the make over now has access on three sides, opposing sides were converted to four false drawers, and one sliding door. stain was macthed prettry close, hard to tell the difference, profile on false drawers were matched to existing drawer profile. this was all done on site. at the guest home.

Nice job Tim.I have a question though.I have never been able to understand the false drawers. Is it just for looks.Seems like a lot of work for nothing to me.

That is a nice kitchen island. I am wanting to change mine out. We have an all white kitchen. I love the color scheme…
