Lean-To Shed

Project by Kevinr214 posted 03-17-2009 02:37 AM 31914 views 9 times favorited 9 comments Add to Favorites Watch

I built this shed next to my house over a few weekends. I used several books for inspiration. It has a timber frame foundation with a brick floor. Hope you like.

The white trim and black hardware really add to the visual appeal. Very crisp looking. Nicely done.

Great project, I am already looking for a place to put one. I have only one question since it looks like it is attached to the house, did you get a termite treatment on the foundation? Most people forget this step.

It is not attached to the house. It sits about 4 inches away from the wall. I used all pressure treated lumber for the foundation and framing. Should I have treated it as well?

I enjoyed your shed so much I built one of my own. The photo I have as my profile picture is the one I built. The photo is just before I had it finished. The paint is Behr Mountain Haze and the trim is Behr Ultra Pure White. Thanks for the idea.

This is cool, simple storage room, it almost looks as default house part… I like how you did it. I have interior door that is in my garage and remembering it bought from http://caldwells.com/interior-doors/closet-doors years ago,, do you think that will work when I make the same type of storage room.

Wow!! This shed next to the home looks really awesome. It gives an added beauty to your garage door repair service home. You can use this shed for small kinds of purposes. The timber frame foundation with a brick floor Gives a different look to it. Looking for more updates from here.
