Our 20+ year old builder grade kitchen was looking a little tired so we took the plunge and remodeled it. One unique feature I do not see too often is the granite table attached to the center island. The table is 54” round and seats 6 comfortably or 8 tight. We were a little nervous about the table concept but have been quite pleased with it, very functional. The area to the left was originally a small walled in laundry room which I blew out and replaced with a wet bar\butler pantry type area.
The second pic shows across from the wet bar area which was also part of the old laundry room. We cut a new door through (2×6 bearing wall) to the dining room. Had to relocate a cold air return to cut the door through, never fun, but well worth it. I struggled with how to handle the corner and the large corner pantry made sense, the fridge and stacked, full size washer/dryer then fell right into place, in fact I did not even have to relocate the original laundry’s gas line and outside exhaust vent line if you can believe that. My Dad and I redrew this area 10 times before we felt we got it just right.
Third pic is just another angle of the main kitchen from the wet bar/laundry area. Rewired, redrywalled, all new windows and doors throughout . Cabinets are cherry, floor is Oak. A little disapointed with the oak floor but it matched the rest of the house and was budget friendly, the rest of the kitchen was not:)

Sweet! Cabinets and counter tops are beautiful.
Did you build the cabinets? They look great.

Nice. Everything goes together so well. I really like how the recessed lighting hits the cabinet’s. That’s a hecka of a table.

Great job. My remodel is posted, but she is thinking I need to make changes and put the island back in. Maybe I’ll try the table idea out myself.

Wow!! It looks really great to see this remodeling idea of a kitchen with a unique granite table buchanans deluxe 12 shared here. From this picture we can’t understand whether it was a reconstruction work or not. Really good perfection on the work.
