My daughter and her husband just bought a house that needed fixing. One of my Christmas gifts to her was a base cabinet for her bathroom. Made this one with inset drawers and door….they loved it!

A gift from a loved one is always lovely and appreciated as it is more about the sentimental value of the present rather than its features. Moving is a huge task to take on and a rather exhaustive phase to go through. Hence, having moral support and encouragement from family and friends is greatly needed and definitely appreciated as well.

That’s a really gorgorgeous counter top and I couldn’t have done it better myself. I love how you kept the top open in case they want to put a sink and other plumbing in. It’s just a really thoughtful gift that I’m sure your daughter is going to treasure for a long time to come. Just be careful they don’t ask you to do the rest of the countertops for them mate! ;)

Wow, it’s absolutely lovely. It so beats the run of the mill Ikea rubbish we see everyday. And the sentimental value that piece has is invaluable! your daughter is a very lucky girl. Anymore ideas and examples you have would be great to have a look through. I’m always looking at new ideas for mycustomers up here in Manchester.

I second what Marcio said about all of this – I would definitely treasure a well built piece of furniture for my house, and even more so if I knew the person who made it personally!

Such a beautiful gift that every household would need for sure. Nobody would turn down a hand-made storage cabinet that is easy to match with any other furnishings in the house. Great job dad!

There is nothing better than building a home with pieces with sentimental value. I concur that your daughter is going to be exceptionally pleased to display this bit of hardware in her home thanks to your effort and care in making it for her. I’m sure she’s super proud of you and your workmanship!
