man that is one great looking deck…....is this your own design or did you have plans to work from…my wife would love a deck like this….....I would be interested in getting a copy of the plans…..very well done

Thankyou for the kind words. I designed this myself in autocad and incorporated elements from different publications. I will try to post some of my prints but I don’t know if I’ll be able to post them in their currebt file format so it may take a while.

Very nice indeed. In the shot with the neighbor’s deck in the background, this one is certainly going to cause a little more than deck envy. HA! Nice job.

Great looking deck, love all the character created by the different levels. Don’t you think it will require a small railing in the corner between the stair sections? Our inspectors around here would even want a railing down the middle of the stairs if less than 4’ and on both sides if more than 4’. Where do they store the cover for the hot tub? Pat

Passed inspection as is, it’s only about 20” high at the corner. Doesn’t require a railing in most states.
