A friend had a fire and they put in a new patio door for her, I looked at the old one and said there was nothing wrong with it, it was in pieces but they didn’t wreck it when they removed it, she said take it. Made sense to me to replace the old entry door in my garage when I was residing it.
At the same time I fenced the area between the house and garage with a privacy section and built a door wide enough to move things in and out of the yard (ran out of ceder, that’s why there’s only one crossbuck). It’s still going strong after 11 years, and the patio door still works like new. (I do repair work for the new owners houses so I’m there from T to T.)

That is really nice looking cedar fencing! I would love to get enough on hand to do some fencing/deck projects around the house! Nice job!

Well done riverdog. 11 years is a testimonial to how well it is built.

That looks really nice! How often do you seal that wood, or what do you do to keep it looking like new?
