When we moved in to this rental, the owners being co-workers of my wife, part of the break on the rent was contingent upon our fixing up the yard some. The interior and exterior of the house itself had recently been redone after a fire in the garage from the previous tenants – so no work there for me. But there was plenty to do outside. So I got busy (still am, actually).
After some digging, raking, scraping, sanding, hole-filling, a little lumber replacement & add-ons, a new door, and three (yes, 3) coats of paint, I was able to get to the fun stuff – make it livable (if you can say that about a storage/garden shed).
If I could remove all the “stuff” that’s inside, I believe I could live there if needed (of course, I’d have to do some interior refurbing first).

What a difference! The plant station area is quite useful. I’ve been thinking of putting a sink in my yard for gardening… have it drain to a mint/basil bed.

Submitted my trellis to Fine Gardening Magazine, and got picked! Yeah, I’m published (well, sort of)...
