Curved Pergola

Project by rrdesigns posted 06-12-2010 04:14 AM 12967 views 3 times favorited 11 comments Add to Favorites Watch

This is a project whose early design was created using SketchUp. It can be found at SketchUp’s 3D warehouse under the name “Curved Pergola”. The design changed somewhat as the actual project progressed. Overall, I was very pleased with the way the finished project worked out. Figuring out the angles involved and keeping the interior as unobstructed as possible was a challenge.

Very interesting. For the past few years, I have been thinking of putting up a curved pergola. You have given me inspiration. Thanks.

This is really striking – I can see that it was posted a while ago, but I just came upon it…

And as a side note, as a part time physics teacher – I’m always telling my students (and it becomes clear as we progress through the semesters) of the fundamental importance of geometry. It’s naturally heavily utilized in many of the projects we all undertake on this site. This project pushes that all the more – very challenging.

Beautiful work!

This page is one of the best source that gave us basic information about the homes so if you want to buy new home then visit this website. I don’t know anything about the essaymama so I am looking for some professional to guide me about this in detail.

The beam idea of the Curved Pergola is very attractive. It gives a very attractive look to the constriction sauce for grilled salmon of the building. I really loved the idea of the beam. I think I should choose this for the construction of my home.
