I’m a Lumberjock, some friends suggested I post this project on here. My wife and I decided to remodel our back yard here in Southern California. Complete gut job. We did all the work our selves except for the granite counter tops. We started in Jan and finished June 1st. We worked on our days off and after work.
We went through 9,000 # of stucco for the walls, removed 26,000 # of dirt for the fake grass, brought in 27,000 # of crushed road base grade 2 for the base of the fake grass, a whopping 150,000 # of black ledge stone, and lots of thin set steel 2×4’s and more. Put the hot tub 3/4 underground..
We went for the tropical look. We have had 2 parties thus far, 86 people at the first and only 18 at the 2nd people seem to love it which makes us feel good. Glad its over!

Thank-you for the kind comments. Blondie are pretty proud we pulled this off ourselfs. Took a few months of hard work but we love it. Thx again.
