Alexandria's Room...

My kids are 51 weeks apart, and it was all I could do when my daughter (who at this point, I had no idea if it was a boy or girl) was born, to have a nursery done.

Fast Forward 2 yrs…

I remodelled my daughters room from a uni-sex nursery, she shared with her brother, to her own little paradise…I moved my son into my old room and built a new master bedroom and workshop in my finished basement. (Posts to follow.)

My daughter loves to tinker around with me on whatever I am workin on…so I call her Tink. I built her a Tinkerbell bed ( http://lumberjocks.com/projects/25292 ) and I loved the colors…so i decided I would would use the same colors for her room. I just had to figure out where and how much of each color to use. In all I am very happy with how it came out, espeacially because I have painting.

I used a pre-glued border and wall stickers from Home Depot. I found a nice switch cover that was the exact shade of purple as the paint.

When she saw her room…it was priceless…she didn’t speak, she just got a big grin on her face and gave me a great big hug! That makes all the painting worth it to me!

Great job Randy. It is very much worth it when your children are appreciative. I’m sure she will treasure this her whole life. Keep up the good work.

Your made Tinkerbell bed for your daughter is very beautiful. All british essay writers are working nicely for students to write such kind of articles. The matter of fact is that, I am looking forward to make similar beds for both of my daughters. Hopefully, they are going to like it.
