This kitchen had oak cabinet with a larger island before with ceramic floor , it was 15 years old was still very nice but she did not like the ceramic floor that was only 6 years old so they decided to change everything

Two questions:

First, is the floor hardwood (sorry if that’s not a fair question)?

Second, what shade of yellow is on the walls? My dw (darling wife) wants yellow on our kitchen walls, but she wants a bold yellow, and every shade we’ve tried so far just tints everything yellow. Any suggestions?

Ok the floor is rustic cherry wood its solid 4in. boards and nailed down not a floating floor I will have the paint soon

Was the floor pre-finished or did you finish it after you nailed it down?
