i remodeled this home offfice with wainscoting all around , builtin bookcases 3 piece crown moulding and a new shelf unit above the closet

ooooooh very nice! Love the wainscoting and crown molding . and that little built-in shelf up there.. oh yah.. LOVE it.

thanks damocles , i only make a few mouldings most i get from weiss hardwoods which is across the street from my shop . the homeowner did the paintwork on this project himself , i think oil base

As usual this is an outstanding job. Personally I don’t like wood and paint but diversity is what makes thing interesting. The 3 piece crown looks gorgeous.

Nice work MrTrim. I like that extra little shelf above the closet.

I wonder if it needs a glass cover to prevent it from getting dusty? I can’t imagine too many people getting out the ladder to dust it each week.

no deb your supposed to have a housekeeper ! lol i thought about getting married and haveing my own housekeeper but i did the math and decieded to hire one ! lol

funny , mine did the same thing ! they call once in a while the conversation usually has something to do with my checkbook !

ain’t that the truth!!
when I facilitate parenting programs and anger management programs for parents that is one of the messages I try to get across: what do you want your children to be like when you are “old”? How you treat them now is developing who they will be when it is their turn to care for you!!

thx bull, this guy has hired several different paint contractors over the years that ive worked for him and not been happy with any of them so he does it himself . it about takes him forever but he gets it done . i think it took him about 8 months to paint this office ! lol ive done a ton of very cool projects in this home , and retrimmed the entire house . maybe ill hunt some photos and post them

It is a very nice job. I love the crown moulding the best.
