I got a Mac Mini and installed it while the wife was out of town. We have two kiddos who cannot resist the blinking lights and beeps- this should be sufficient to keep them out of trouble.

All the cords are contained within the wall.

If I had it to do over again, I would make the piece of wood (in the shelf) that is against the wall a 1×8, and mount the outlets in that 1×8—- you never know what you’ll find when you open up the wall! This would give you the opportunity to change plans if needed, and a great solid attachment.

Dang, I don’t know how to use a Mac yet, so the picture still needs to be rotated. ha!
