Hey all!

Time has come to redo the flooring in my living room and hallway. One of the previous homeowners put a bunch of nails and screws through it to stop the squeaking, and of course did not succeed in doing anything but making a mess. At some point this year or next, I’ll be in the process of pulling it up and laying a new subfloor for engineered hardwood and was wondering if there was anything that could be done with the old oak flooring besides being taken to the dump?

Sorry but I don’t think much can be done to old hardwood floors.
