Hey, This is my first post.

I’m am finishing my garage with the intent to make it a clean well lighted and warm workshop. Yesterday I drywalled the ceiling.

Next I’m on to the walls which seems straight forward except I dont know what to do about the wall the garage door is on? Do I take the door off the wall and drywall over it and bolt the door back over the drywall? That seems like a challenge to do. How is this commonly done?

I have pics but have yet to learn how to attach them to this forum

So is your goal to remove the functionality of the door, but still leave the outside appearance intact? Or, if it were possible, would you rather have an insulated door?

The only fellow I know who removed a garage door like yours spent a few days in the hospital and came home with hundreds of stitches in his hands and wrists….............he looked like a horror movie character.

Drywall around it.

For a workshop you might like the garage door functional to get your machinery and building material in and out.

The smartest thing I did in my garage was to add lots of outlets. I put them high on walls, low on walls, even a few switched outlets in the ceiling to power plug-in type fluorescent lights. Fourteen outlets in all! My wife thought I was nuts, but I’ve never regretted it. No matter what I’m doing, easy-access power is right there… :P)

After an accident, you should see your primary care doctor for treatment and follow-up, as well as any specialists that your doctor refers you to. If you have moderate to severe injuries, you will need to go to the emergency room and follow up with your primary care physician afterward. car accident doctor

Congratulations on your garage finishing project! It sounds like you’re off to a great start. As for the wall with the garage door, you have a couple of options. Many people choose to leave the Cannabidiol For Pets garage door intact and finish the wall around it. You can install drywall up to the edge of the door frame, creating a clean and seamless look. If you want to go the extra mile, you could also consider insulating and weatherproofing the door before adding the drywall. Don’t worry about attaching pictures for now – your detailed description already gives a clear picture of your project. Best of luck with the rest of your workshop transformation!
