I am planning to start on new cabinets for my kitchen. To plan for the correct height I need the countertop thickness. We are planning to use Corian or similar countertop. How thick does this type countertop come?

Where did you get your answer? I thought it should be 36 to 42 inches. Anyway, thanks for sharing!

Standard cabinet height is 34.5” add 1 1/2 for counter top and your total height is 36”. Corian is made up of a build up on MDF. Corian comes in 3 thicknesses, 3/4”, 1/2”, and 1/4”.
