Topic tags/keywords: question floors nails fasteners

What type underlay is used for vinyl flooring? Also I’ve heard that it is now stapled instead of nailed.
Are we talking about crowned staples from a gun?

Use 1/4 inch plywood with a crown staple. Make sure your staples aren’t shooting through the ply. staple seams about every inch and in the field every three inches.. Then float the seams with a floor levelor. Good luck.
