Lots of flooring questions on here.

This year I installed about 700 sf of eastern white pine flooring.

quite simply my dogs nails are destroying it

500’ of it is not more than a month old. 2 coats of stain and 4 coats of poly.

does anybody else here have this same experience?

I am wondering why they even sell pine flooring at this point. If I had paid someone to install and finish I would be sick to death right now.

I knew it would “show character” but at this rate I cannot wait to see wht the second month will bring.
