Oh no...I'm at it again! This years mega DIY project: "Maximum Makeover, the Inside Edition :)

Hi all.

Some may remember my post last year about this Maximum makeover thing. This is where I take on a DIY project that is WAY bigger than is probably sane, complete it on a deadline and then write about it for various magazines. Well, last year’s went pretty well, so I’m doing it again.

This year I’m doing a complete gut of my 1970’s Viceroy cottage and finally making it a home. You can see my progress daily (and what I’ve done so far) blogged HERE Please take a look and tell me what you think….heck, a little moral support would be good too :)

Just so you can see what I’m up against, this is what I started with….the “before”
As you can see, the inside of this house goes from the “OK” looking living room to the absolutely, positively, no-holds-barred ugly mess of a kitchen. Pretty much every square inch of the house was either T&G cedar (including the cabinetry!) or 3/8” drywall and popcorn.
