I have a three season breezeway with the old style windows that come up and can be changed from glass panels to screen panels. The way the windows clip in are not the standard turn buttons. It has a metal piece that is mortised in to the side of the window frame (like a biscuit slot) and on the window casing there is a slot that the metal slides into to hold the window in? You pull the tab up on the metal piece and it rotates up to the metal is not in the slot and you can take the window out.

When we moved in there are a few screens missing for the summer so I got some old screens that i cut down to fit in. The problem is that I can not find these little metal pieces that are in the ones I have. I like how they work and would prefer the style stay the same at the ones in there now. Just wondering if any of you guys or gals know what I am talking about and if you know where I can find them. ive searched the internet alot a havnt found a single thing looking like it.

If you want some pics let me know, I can take some!

Sure you can use old style window which looks awesome but instead of using glass panels,You should use wooden panels which you can remould. There are many choices that can be available for you because many shapes and styles that can be available for that.
