Hey guys.. I have a rubbing noise coming from my interior wall… It isn’t a water pipe… What could it be? Please help

Explain a bit more. Is it from only one place in your house? Is it intermittent or constant? You say, rubbing – explain. Could it be an animal that is crawling between walls?
