Fantastic Design Work and superb attention to detail. The one with the corner column is a work of art. -- Bill -Ad Marketing Guy Ramsey NJ |

chairs in the second picture—oh yah.. only thing that i have to compare this with is a TV stand we made and have now moved to the kitchen. We took out the table and chairs and put the new “island” in. -- ~ Debbie, Ontario Canada |

Three great jobs. I vote for number two. Love the tile job. I love those chairs/stools! -- If you believe in forever, then life is just a one-night stand. ~ Righteous Brothers, "Rock & Roll Heaven" |

can’t see the island that is also the breakfast bar in this photo, but this is a kitchen I did and installed, in a house I trimmed two years ago. I also build a wine cellar, and dozen more buildins for this house. some elements of the kitchen was bought at a salvage store the rest I had to repair or build to match. -- Joey ~~ Sabina, Ohio http://sleepydogwoodworking.wordpress.com/ |

nice looking job joey . is that a pss thru into a dining room or something thats over the sink ? great work |
04-05-2008 11:27 PM |
it is a pass thru that goes under the back steps and then their is a little wet bar for wine also in that found space in the hall. it’s kind of deep but it passes thru to the dinning room. -- Joey ~~ Sabina, Ohio http://sleepydogwoodworking.wordpress.com/ |

sounds cool . nice overall layout also . i think i remember reading your profile on l j . how long have you been in the trim and cabinet business ? |
04-06-2008 06:13 AM |
Ahh, your work is sweet, MrTrim. Nice jobs. Almost makes me want to turn pro… NOT! The kitchen is the last room in the house to get the refurb. I have to finish the foyer, library and replace the last four interior doors before that happens. I’ve got a couple of designs for the kitchen which turn the galley with a peninsula into an L shaped with a freestanding bar/prep cabinet. I’ve also included coffering for that area as well as the breakfast nook and foyer. But I won’t let mama loose with a sledge hammer just yet—I’ve insisted on having ALL of the new appliances purchased and the cabinetry complete before ANY demolition begins. Never seen such a woman with a sledge… plumb scary! always, -- "Imagination is more important than knowledge" -- Albert Einstein |

thanks j c . id say if you dont need to eat or pay bills it would be a great idea to go pro ! lol i agree on haveing the appliances first . i do a lot of ent. centers and i insist they have the componants before i start |
