Not sure where to put this topic but here goes. We got a new single bowl sink and countertops recently. SWMBO threatened me if I got rust spots in it from leaving cast iron skillets in it too long. Well….......I found a good way to remove the rust stains. Scotchbrite did a decent job but left a “shadow” in the sink. What is a mild abrasive? Toothpaste has a mild abrasive. So…...I put a couple of globs in the sink, wet a cloth and scrubbed with the grain of the SS. Waaahooooo! I works! SWMBO also said that the Magic Sponges work, also. Thanks for reading and hope this will help someone in the future. -- I got out of the rat race. The rats kept winning. |
