Lousy wiring job prevents extra lines!

I would take it that there is no solution to the problem except to tear out the sheetrock and rewire or tap into the new wiring I put in last year??????

Don’t underestimate the power of conduit… Yeah, I hate surface mounted stuff too, but at least that way you avoid the re-sheetrocking.

Dan, the problem is that the breaker box is in a straight line with the shop area and the house is a split foyer. The foyer is in direct line with the start and finish if I went with conduit. I don’t have a problem with conduit but the floor plan gets in the way. I should have mentioned that in the original post. I talked with an electrician I worked with at Lowe’s. He said there is no solution with the original wiring. Said the best would be to tap into the three wire line I ran last year for power tools; split off a line to the light. Originally, if I ran the tablesaw and the shop vac together, the breaker would trip. Thanks for your thoughts and suggestion.
