I see that the Winter Award & Challenges for 2009 are in full swing already. I have not seen it on this site, for the Home Refurbers. Now is this because this is still to came. It is in the works, but the details need to be worked out. Or is it because there is just not enough activity here at this site, the sponsors gave up on us HR-ers. Or is it because there was bickering going on last challenge about how the voting was not fair.

I thought I would as you HR-ers to respond and tell the management in your own words why you think you would like to be included in the awards and challenges for this winter, that we should not be forgotten. We need to tell them that also for HR it will be a great tool to get more activity going on this sister site.

Thanks. ;-)

Hey PaBull, there are more reasons why we’ve decided not to launch winter awards on HomeRefurbers. One of them is the activity on the site, which is very low. Second is that we haven’t found sponsors for the awards. I hope that everything goes well and we will have great summer awards.

Yes, you are probably right. I was just being hopeful. It is a catch 22; you need activity to fuel the activity. Thanks for your response and keep up the good work.
